On September 3-4, at the Church of St. Faustina at Plac Niepodległości in Lodz, the 2nd Saint Faustina Congress will take place. This time, it will be themed Apostles of Mercy. Among those who have announced their participation are Archbishop Grzegorz Ryś, Metropolitan of Lodz, Archbishop Władysław Ziółek, Bishop Henryk Ciereszko, priests, Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and Merciful Jesus, and lay apostles of Divine Mercy. Panel discussions preceded by short speeches by panelists will focus on witnessing mercy through deeds, words and prayer. The last panel will feature Sister Maria Faustyna Ciborowska of the Krakow convent of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy. On Sunday, during Holy Mass, testimonies will be offered by apostles of Divine Mercy. The Congress will conclude with a service celebrated under the presidency of Archbishop Grzegorz Ryś. Representatives of parishes of Divine Mercy and St. Faustina, as well as persons to whose hearts the Apostle of Divine Mercy is close to, have been invited to participate. Patrons of the event are Archbishop Grzegorz Ryś, the Metropolitan bishop of Lodz and M. Miriam Janies, ISMM, Superior General of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy.
