The Sisters of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy and apostles of Divine Mercy following in the footsteps of St. Faustina and those participating in her mission of proclaiming the message of Mercy to the world by testimony of life, deed, word and prayer, will celebrate and commemorate a few important anniversaries in 2022:
February 18 – 5 years of the ministry of the Congregation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
May 1 – 100th anniversary of the ministry of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Kalisz.
June 7 – 25th anniversary of John Paul II’s first pilgrimage to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki as a Pope.
June 29 – 25 years of the Congregation’s ministry in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan.
August 5 – 85th anniversary of electing Mary Mother of Mercy as the heavenly Superior of the Congregation.
August 17 – 20th anniversary John Paul II’s second pilgrimage to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki as a Pope and entrusting the world to Divine Mercy.
August 26 – 10 years of the Congregation’s ministry in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan.
September 1 – 30 years of the Congregation’s ministry in Szylavichy, Belarus.
September 16 – 5th anniversary of the consecration of the convent and the ministry of the Congregation in Lodz at ul. Krośnieńska, in the house, where Helena Kowalska – St. Faustina – lived in 1922/1923.
September 27 – 85th anniversary of printing the first Divine Mercy holy cards (with a copy of E. Kazimirowski’s painting by Ł. Bałzukiewiczówna) in Krakow’ printing shop of J. Cebulski at ul. Szewska 22.
October – 85th anniversary of the revelation of the Hour of Mercy devotion, i.e., praying at the hour of Jesus Christ’s agony on the Cross (3 pm), at the convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki.
November 1 – 160th anniversary of the establishment of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Poland.
