Change of the Congregation’s abbreviated name

Until now, the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy has used the abbreviation ZMBM. in Polish and the abbreviations adequate to the name of the Congregation in a given language in other countries. The Congregation has now decided to standardize the abbreviation of the name to all language areas. After appropriate consultation, the Chapter adopted the following abbreviated name of the Congregation: ISMM., from the Latin name Institutum Sororum Matris Misericordiae.
