On October 5th, at the John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C., day retreat with St. Faustina will take place. The motto of the meeting will be: “Well-known and well-loved”. The retreat experience will focus on silence and individual prayer. It will start with a presentation from Sr. Gaudia Skass of the Washington community of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy. The first lecture will unfold how deeply did God know Sister Faustina, loved her in the truth of who she is, and chose her to fulfill a prophetic mission. The second conference will be a meditation on the meeting at the well between Jesus with the Samaritan woman, which was a moment when her deepest desire to love was fulfilled. The retreat will also be an opportunity to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Holy Mass, Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and personal conversation with the sisters.
