On June 7, which is the 23rd anniversary of John Paul II’s first papal pilgrimage to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki, an exhibition, John Paul II—the Pope of Mercy will be available in the lower part of the basilica. It comprises photos (some never published before), and texts documenting the most important events in the life of St. John Paul II related to the proclamation of the message of Mercy to the world and those associated with Sister Faustina. The exhibition was prepared by Fr. Zbigniew Bielas, Sr. Elżbieta Siepak, O.L.M., and Małgorzata Pabis. The graphic design was developed by Piotr Jantos, and the organizers are the Rectorate of the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki, the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, and the John Paul II Krakow Airport.
