On August 19 this year, worshipers of the Divine Mercy will come to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki as part of the 10th National Pilgrimage, organized on the anniversary of the consecration of the Basilica of Divine Mercy and entrusting the world to Divine Mercy by St. John Paul II. At 12.00 the Eucharist will be presided over by Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski, Metropolitan of Krakow. During this Holy Mass, the Bell of Hope will be blessed for the Polish National Sanctuary on Kahlenberg on the occasion of the 340th anniversary of the Battle of Vienna and the 40th anniversary of the pilgrimage of St. John Paul II on Kahlenberg. At the end of the Holy Mass. – entrusting the world to God’s Mercy, awarding Beati misericordes medals. The program of the pilgrimage includes a presentation of the works of mercy in tents in the square in front of the basilica, and at 7 p.m. a screening of the film “Sister Faustina” made by the Brazilian TV channel Canção Nova.
