Interest in the figure of Saint Sister Faustina does not diminish but continues to grow, and with it interest in her Diary, about which Saint John Paul II wrote that it is “the Gospel of mercy written from the perspective of the twentieth century.” Bishop John Tong Hon, former ordinary of the Diocese of Hong Kong, confessed in the foreword to the Chinese edition of the work that it is “the most wonderful gift of God offered to the world” and “a spiritual treasure of the whole Church.” The work of the Apostle of Divine Mercy has been translated and published in 36 languages, with a further 4 translations currently in progress. It is today the most frequently translated book from the Polish language, even into such exotic languages as Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Kinyarwanda, Malayalam, Telugu, Tok Pidgin, and Vietnamese.
The Diary in Polish and in some foreign languages can be purchased at the “Misericordia” publishing house bookstore at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Kraków–Łagiewniki (shopping arcade next to the basilica) or in the online store: www.misericordia.faustyna.net.
