Patron Saint for 2026 the draw
“If you knew the gift of God”

Under this title, on May 9–11, 2026, a retreat will take place at the Archcathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Astana, based on the meeting of Jesus with the Samaritan woman. At the well, two desires meet: a gentle, feminine heart longing for life and understanding, and the desire of Jesus, who says, “Give Me a drink.” This subtle dialogue between two thirsty hearts opens the way to inner transformation, a new perspective, and the discovery of one’s own dignity. The program includes: encounters with the Word of God, conferences, and workshops. The retreat will be led by: Sr. Anastasis Omelchenko from the Petropavlovsk community of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, Sr. Kazimiera Wanat CSFN, and Fr. Lucjan Pocałuń.
