From June 7–12, 2026, the 6th World Apostolic Congress on Mercy (WACOM 2026) will take place in Vilnius. The theme of this event is: “Building the City of Mercy”, because the Congress is being held in the city where the first image of the Merciful Jesus was painted. It was there, in the convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Antakalnis, that Jesus dictated the Chaplet of Divine Mercy to Saint Sister Faustina and requested the establishment of a “new congregation,” that is, the great, multi-million-member Movement of Apostles of Divine Mercy. Today this movement is made up of male and female religious congregations, both active and contemplative, as well as priests and lay faithful, who continue her mission of proclaiming the message of Mercy to the world through the witness of life, deeds, words, and prayer. The following Sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy will participate in this event: Sr. Teresa de la Fuente, Sr. Salwatricze Musiał, and Sr. Diana Kuczek.
