In this series, at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Kraków-Łagiewniki, from December 11 to 13 this year, another retreat will take place, this time under the theme: “Prayer of the Heart with Mary.” The motto for this spiritual exercise will be the words of Jesus recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary: “Try to unite your prayer with My Mother. Pray from the heart in union with Mary” (Diary, 32). In the practice of praying with the Word of God, at a certain stage, there comes a moment when meditation turns into prayer of the heart, which is a response to the word heard. The guide on the paths of prayer of the heart will be Mary, because She received the Word of God most fully, dialogued with it in her daily life, and responded to it most faithfully. The retreat will be led by Fr. Kazimierz Stasiak, Pallottine priest, retreat master, spiritual director, and spiritual father at the Higher Seminary of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate in Ołtarzew, and Sr. M. Eliana Chmielewska of the Congregation of the Mother of Divine Mercy, who serves in the “Faustinum” association.
