Dedication of the Church of Divine Mercy in Ladce

On October 8th (Saturday) at 10 am, dedication of a new church of Divine Mercy in Ladce, Slovakia, will take place. Along with a chapel and Way of the Cross on Mount Butkov, the church forms the Rock Shrine of Divine Mercy. In the center of the church, a large image of Merciful Jesus is displayed. It is a copy of the grace-famous Divine Mercy image from the Łagiewniki Shine, painted by Janusz Antosz – a gift from the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. The ceremony will be presided over by Bishop Tomas Galis of the Zilina Diocese. The participants will include individuals involved in the construction of the church from Slovakia and Poland, among them the Zibet company and the founder of the church and the entire Rock Shrine – the CEO of the Cement Company Ladce, Anton Barcik. The musical performance accompanying the ceremony will be provided by the Gospel Family.
