On April 2nd, the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki will host the fifth of the monthly meetings for the youth, called “For Us and the World”. The renowned guests will be Bp. Grzegorz Ryś i Fr. Peter Hocken, and the topic of the meeting which will start at 4:00 pm at the basilica will be the following Works of Mercy: visit the imprisoned and forgive offenses willingly. The Patron of the meeting will be St. John Paul II, because that day is the 11th anniversary of his departure to the Heavenly Father. At 6 pm, Holy Mass will be celebrated and followed by prayer of adoration. The evangelical meetings are held as part of preparations for the approaching World Youth Day. The participants include individuals physically present in the Łagiewniki basilica and youth from around the globe viewing the online transmission at www.milosierdzie.pl. The meeting will be translated into English live, and at the official World Youth Day website, it will be also available with Spanish subtitles.
