Parishes and other communities in the Diocese of Bielsko-Żywiec will receive a visit from the Merciful Jesus in the form of a copy of the miraculous image from the Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki, together with relics of St. Faustina and St. John Paul II. In December, the pilgrimage will cover the following areas:
1 March – Bujaków, parish of the Triumph of the Cross
2 March – Kobiernice, parish of St. Urban
3 March – Czernichów, parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa
4 March – Międzybrodzie Żywieckie, parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help
5 March – Międzybrodzie Bialskie, parish of St. Mary Magdalene
6 March – Porąbka, parish of the Birth of Mary
7 March – Czaniec, parish of St. Bartholomew
8 March – Kęty, parish of Sts. Margaret and Catherine
9 March – Kęty Osiedle, parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
10 March – Oświęcim, parish of Divine Mercy
11 March – Oświęcim, parish of St. Maximilian Kolbe
12 March – Oświęcim, parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
13 March – Oświęcim, parish of Mary Help of Christians
14 March – Oświęcim, parish of St. Joseph
15 March – Oświęcim Brzezinka, parish of Our Lady Queen of Poland
16 March – Harmęże, parish of the Immaculata
From 17 March to 1 April 2016 – Harmęże, Father Kolbe Missionaries of the Immaculata.
The visitation of each parish is preceded by spiritual prepartions, and the visitation itself is an extraordinary event. Sometimes, it abounds in graces that the Mercy of God bestows to bring blessed fruit. Sisters and pilgrims to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki will pray for each parish visited on this particular occasion.
