From 14 to 22 of October, at the Shrine of St. Faustina in Kiekrz, an eight-day retreat for the sisters of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy will take place. It will be conducted by Fr. Romuald Baingo, a Salvatorian priest, and will also be participated by sisters from several other convents. The theme of the conference is the mystery of God’s Mercy and human mercy. The retreat will be preceded by a communal novena to the Holy Spirit, so that He accompany the priest conducting the exercises and the sisters celebrating it. The sisters participate in an eight-day and a three-day retreat each year. During those days they are exempt from their daily duties, so that they can join the Lord “in the wilderness” and completely surrender to His direction.
