Crisis may affect any marriage, whether it has been one, five, ten or twenty-five years since you two said the oath. Time may come when the spouses find that their relationship cannot be saved anymore and when divorce seems like the only solution. But perhaps it is worth giving a chance to the power of prayer, of which the Gospel says that it moves mountains? The sisters from the convent of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy in Plock are inviting couples who are going through various difficulties to participate in individual prayer and offer their spiritual “emergency service” for married couples in crisis. Just send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, asking for prayer for a particular marriage. The sisters will be praying each day at 3:00 pm in the Shrine of Divine Mercy at the Old Market Square, asking for harmony, reconciliation and love between spouses. They will not reveal the names of those whose marriages they are praying for publicly. “Trust that there is Someone out there for Whom nothing is impossible!”, encourage the sisters.
