This is the theme of the initiative to participate in nighttime prayer at 3:00 am on Monday, February 8^th. The intention will be devoted to human trafficking victims worldwide. Human trafficking is a new form of slavery that is haunting the modern world. Everyone can join in the prayer – as an individual or a part of a community. Just get up by 3 am to say the Divine Mercy Chaplet. “The nighttime initiative Transform the Night into Might is, above, all, an expression of our solidarity with all those who have been enslaved by the contemporary world and its desires”, say the organizers, the Bakhita Initiative that combats human trafficking and provides aid to victims of modern slavery. The Initiative cooperates with the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious. It is estimated that 27 million women, men and children are forced to work in inhuman conditions or beg in the streets, are abused sexually or suffer forceful organ removal.
