My Spirit shall be the rule of your life. Your life is to be modelled on Mine, from the crib to My death on the Cross. Penetrate My mysteries, and you will know the abyss of My mercy towards creatures and My unfathomable goodness-and this you shall make known to the world. (Diary, 438).
Her first monastic vows of chastity, poverty and obedience (made for one year), bring the sister into the juniorate stage of the Congregation in which she renews her vows each year for the next five years. During this time the sisters, under the direction of their juniorate superior, continue their spiritual formation, aimed at deepening their inner life; bringing them into closer union with Christ; and at the same time leading them to a fuller identification with the Congregation and involvement in its apostolic mission. During this period the juniorate sister gains relevant professional qualifications and completes the education needed by her for the religious life and apostolate.
Five months before her complete dedication to the Lord the sister begins the third probation, a time of immediate preparation for taking perpetual vows of chastity, poverty and obedience according to the established Constitutions of the Congregation.
