The next retreat in this series will take place at the Divine Mercy Shrine in Kraków-Łagiewniki, Poland, on July 24–26, under the theme: “Jacob and Rachel: Growing in Trust.” The motto for the retreat will be the words of Jesus from the Diary of St. Faustina: “I reward not for good results but for the patience and hardship endured for My sake” (Diary, 86).
Through the lives of biblical figures, participants will discover that God rewards not so much the results of our work as the effort undertaken for Him. He looks at the heart, intentions, and struggles. In God’s eyes, the daily effort to love, to mature, and to trust Him more deeply—despite weakness and failures—is of immense value. The retreat will be led by Sr. Maria Faustyna Ciborowska of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, who holds a doctorate in Biblical Studies and is actively engaged in proclaiming the message of Divine Mercy.
