On June 26–28 this year, a retreat for women will take place at the Divine Mercy Shrine in Kraków-Łagiewniki. The theme of the retreat will be: “Loneliness and Rejection – Wounds of a Woman’s Heart.” Sensitivity, tenderness, and openness to others are distinctive qualities of a woman’s heart. Yet these qualities also contain a certain fragility and vulnerability to wounds, especially those caused by loneliness and rejection. However, every wound can be brought to Jesus, who, like a good physician, always finds the best remedy for the pains of human hearts.

The retreat will be led by Sr. M. Gaudia Skass, spokesperson for the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, who has been involved for many years in proclaiming the message of Divine Mercy at the Łagiewniki Shrine and in missionary work.
