As of August 31, 2026, the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy concluded its ministry at the Home for Single Mothers in Chyliczki. For 39 years, the sisters served pregnant women, single mothers and their children in this home through the witness of their lives, deeds, words and prayer. They cared not only to provide them with shelter and support, but also to show them God’s merciful love, the beauty of faith and the richness of true human love. The ministry at the Home for Single Mothers, run by the “Blisko Rodziny” Foundation of the Archdiocese of Warsaw, has been taken over by the Pallottine Sisters.
