From September 11 to 13, a retreat for women, including workshop sessions, will be held at the convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Walendów under the theme: “If you knew the gift of God.” The motto for these spiritual exercises is the words of St. Faustina: “I cannot live without God, but I feel that God, too, cannot be happy without me” (Diary, 1120). Inspired by the Samaritan woman, the retreat is an invitation to rediscover the gift of feminine dignity and beauty in the light of God’s mercy. During the retreat, participants will be able to pause at the wellspring of the Word of God, allowing Jesus, as He once did at the well, to speak to their hearts about true thirst and the love that gives life.
The retreat, including workshop sessions, will be led by Sr. M. Anastasis Omelczenko from the Congregation’s community in Petropavlovsk and Sr. Kazimiera Wanat, also from Kazakhstan.
