From October 2 to 4, preparations for the liturgical feast of St. Faustina will take place at the Shrine of Divine Mercy at the Old Market Square. The Holy Masses with homilies at 5:00 p.m. will be led by Fr. Mariusz Balcerak, SJ, Vice-Postulator of the beatification cause of the Servant of God Fr. Józef Andrasz, SJ, St. Faustina’s confessor and spiritual director in Kraków.
On October 5, the Eucharist will be celebrated at 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The solemn Mass at 5:00 p.m. will be presided over by Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki and Bishop Szymon Stułkowski, Bishop of Płock. As every day, prayer at the Hour of Mercy and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will take place at 3:00 p.m.
At 6:00 p.m., in the crypt of the church, there will be a monodrama based on St. Faustina’s Diary, entitled The Secretary, performed by Barbara Misiun, an actress from the Jerzy Szaniawski Drama Theatre in Płock.
The museum will be open to visitors throughout the day, and after each Holy Mass, St. Faustina’s bread rolls will be offered.
