The patronal feast at the Shrine of St. Sister Faustina in Kiekrz will be celebrated on October 11, traditionally on the first Sunday after the liturgical memorial of the Apostle of Divine Mercy (October 5). The celebration will be preceded by a triduum from October 8 to 10, which will begin with Holy Mass celebrated by Archbishop Zbigniew Zieliński at 6:00 p.m. After the Eucharist, he will bless the Mother and Child Home following its complete renovation. On the following days of the triduum, the services will be led by Fr. Mateusz Gierlich from Rokietnica.
On Sunday, October 11, at 12:00 noon, Holy Mass will be celebrated by Lake Kierskie Małe, preceded by a procession from the Shrine. As usual, a communal meal (agape) will follow near the convent. At 2:30 p.m., the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the outdoor altar opposite the convent, and at 3:00 p.m., the faithful will gather for prayer at the Hour of Mercy and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
On this day, the sisters of the Kiekrz community of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy will offer special thanks for all the donors and benefactors of the Mother and Child Home.
